Old Man Winter

If you live in the Northwest, then you feel my pain: this July has felt like winter. (I'm allowed to exaggerate when I'm complaining, right?) I mean, sixty degrees and rainy? Get with the program, summer. When "blah" weather hits, I turn to my comfort clothes, jeans. Normally I'd just throw on a t-shirt and sweatshirt, but since I started this blog I've been much more conscious of what I wear, so I decided to add a touch of class to my comfort. I like to call this look "old man comfort." The blazer feels a little old man-ish, but the hat is really what did it. If I had a pair of tweed pants, I'd fit right in with all the old dons at Oxford.

  2. This is one great look! I adore that coat. I think that the orange shirt adds great color to a grey day.

  4. I very much like the blazer. Makes me look forward to the fall season. :) But in saying that I'm more than happy to keep summer around a bit longer, rain or shine.

  7. The weather is the same here in London...rain rain and cloud..! I'm beginning to wonder why I even bothered wasting money on summer clothes this year. Should have gone straight for Autumn. I really like this outfit though, especially the jacket. x

  9. I think this might be my personal favorite so far. It has all my favorite things to wear, jacket, hat, and color in a neat, clean package. I would forget to return the hat.
