65 degrees

It was fairly chilly outside on Sunday, so I put a sweater over my dress, and when I went outside I found myself wishing I had tights on. I think it was only 65 degrees (so not actually that cold), but when you're used to 85 degrees, 65 degrees feels like tights weather! I love summer, but I will admit it: I miss layering.

I can't believe I only posted on this blog twice last week - I think that's the least I've posted since I started this thing more than a year ago. Even though my new tax class only takes an extra 12 hours a week, that's still 12 hours of free time I don't have anymore, and I've had to re-evaluate my priorities. I've been focusing on doing my favorite things in my free time, which means reading and hanging out with Josh, and maybe once I get used to my new schedule I'll be able to start catching up on all the blog reading I've missed.

  1. A layered sweater is a great way to transition a summery floral into fall... and 65 isn't that bad... as long as the sun is out.

  2. Adding the sweater is a great way to go from summer to fall. Plus you get more use out of your cute summer dresses :)

  3. I love those earrings; so pretty.

And I know what you mean about Sunday. I put on cashmere sweat pants to watch football because it felt that cold to me. It wasn't, I know, but it felt it.

  4. Great pattern mix combining that skirt, bracelet, and shoes! The earrings are the most excellent decoration up top and make me smile.

WIth how busy you (and some other of my favourite bloggers) are, I'm just totally glad to be seeing whatever posts you can muster! Sounds like you're taking excellent care of you in the balance, so important. :)

  5. I think the print of your dress is fabulous and the sweater over top really makes the colors pop.

  7. You and taxes are not two things I would have put together. But.... you are good with money and always are on the look out for discounts so I bet you will rock those deductions.
