It's hard to believe, but I get more compliments when I wear this dress than I do with almost any other dress. I don't really get it - I mean, it's kind of shapeless and weird. Which of course is what drew me to it, but it doesn't explain everyone else's fascination with it. Apparently the dress alone wasn't eye-assaulting enough for me, because I felt compelled to throw on these strawberry print shoes as well. Yes, it was overkill, but it made me happy.
Happy Labor Day to all you Americans! I hope you enjoy your barbecues and picnics :)

Dress: vintage (I think it's from House of Vintage)
Jean jacket: thrifted from Rerun
Strawberry print flats: Asos
Bracelets: made by me!
I love a nice print mix - the more the merrier, right?

This is such a cute dress Stacey! I love that you added the strawberry print shoes! It is a great way to play with all the fun-ness of this outfit.
ReplyDeleteOh Stacey! Compliments, "shapeless and weird," and especially it making you happy - all fantastic, along with the gorgeous light in these photos. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteOh how I love this dress! And I find too that when I wear my "shapeless and weird" pieces I get the most compliments, I think it's because it's fun. And even more fun that you paired with the strawberry shoes - I like!
