No, your eyes are not deceiving you - I chopped off all my hair! I thought it was finally time to fulfill my dream of looking like Justin Bieber. (I'm kidding - although my hair does kind of look like the Biebster's now.) It's weird and sassy and kind of boyish, but I love it! Plus, it means I can cross #5 off my 30 before 30 list. And it means that doing my hair now takes ten seconds.
I went to Lucas Salon to get it done. I can't say enough good things about that place. Every time I've been there, they've done great things to my hair. If you're ever in the Portland area and in need of a haircut, visit Lucas Salon and ask for Shiloh - she's the one who cut my hair this time, and I loved what she did.
(Don't mind my red earlobe - my ears just don't like earrings sometimes.)

ReplyDeleteLove the 'do, love the skirt, and that shade of purple is perfect for you.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Congrats on the big change, too...it takes a lot of courage to go short!
ReplyDeleteAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE it!!!! This is a bad ass look on you Stacey! I am so proud of you! That takes a lot of courage. It's paying off though. I've always wanted to do it, but I don't know that my curls would allow it to happen.
ReplyDeleteStopped by for a visit as usual and muttered "what the heeeeeeeeeck?!" upon seeing your new 'do. Looks fab! Welcome to the short hair club ;)
ReplyDeleteIt looks amazing! It suits you really well. I got a pixie cut about two years ago and adored it - so incredibly easy to take care of. I was itching for change though, so now I'm growing it out. I'm sure I'll eventually go short again though. :)

ReplyDeleteOh man, oh man, your hair is GORGEOUS! Wow. I seriously wish I could pull off short hair. You look amazing, and that is straight from the heart.
ReplyDeleteThat looks AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteLove this! you're so brave to chop it all off in one go. I usually get "trims" until it's short (slow grow, slow go). But I do love the transformative effect of the all-in-one shot cut. You look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteOh Stacey, I LOVE IT!!!! You have exactly the perfect face and great attitude that short hair requires. You are bold and badass before 30.

Everyone needs a liberating haircut once in their life, and this looks great on you! I cut off my hair last year and it felt great to have a change. However, it does take forever to grow back, though!
