Portland has yet to reach 90 degrees this year. The highs this summer have been in the mid-80s, which is nice, because when the weather gets any hotter than that all I want to do is lay on the couch with the a/c on full blast. It was 85 degrees yesterday, which was just pleasant enough for an evening stroll to a nearby farmer's market to buy some pints of raspberries. I did try to wear as little as possible, though, because 85 degrees is still pretty toasty for us in the northwest. I liked this outfit despite its simplicity - the jewelry and the sandals made it interesting.
Pink shorts: Loft
Black tank top: Target

Gold necklace: Evidence Jewelry, won in a giveaway

Great summer outfit...it's relaxed and cool, but the jewelry makes it interesting and feminine. Love those bracelets so much...but I've already said that a million times before ;)

Thanks, Cambria! The jewelry was definitely my favorite part of this outfit.
DeleteSimple is always best in the summer. I am so jealous of your temperatures. I am a heat lover for sure, but once it gets 95+ I'm like "you know I would enjoy this a lot more if it were just a tad cooler." Love that necklace!
ReplyDeleteI whine about the rain and the overcast skies here in Oregon, but I actually really enjoy our temperate seasons. We almost never get bitter cold winters or boiling hot summers.
DeleteVery simple and beautiful! I love your lovely accessories, especially the pink bangles! Sounds like you had a lovely day :) I think I have a craving for raspberries now! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Katie!

I love taking outfit photos in the evening in the summer - the light is always perfect. In winter I have to take them mid-day, and they never turn out as nice.
