Love and leopard print

Even though I very much like red and pink together, I decided it would have been over the top to wear it on Valentine's Day, so this is what I wore instead. Because nothing says love like leopard print and a men's sweater vest.

Josh and I went out to lunch yesterday with some of his co-workers, and they made me play pool with them. I was so bad at it that there were times where I literally could not even hit the white ball that was an inch away from the cue stick. I may be classically trained at the piano, folks, but my hand-eye coordination fails me whenever I really just want to look cool. (Because isn't that what pool is all about? Who cares if you get balls in the holes, as long as you look cool while doing it.)

Jeans: Levi's from Urban Outfitters
Brown boots: TJ Maxx
Brown men's hat: gift from my dad, from a store in York, England
Gold owl necklace: Forever 21
Brown belt: thrifted from Goodwill

  1. That owl necklace is awesome! I suck at pool too. Sadly, pretty much everyone in my husband's family is really good and they all love to play.

  2. Your owl necklace is fantastic! And I love the mix of ne5trals (ahem, I consider animal print a form of neutral) here! The booties are so cute!

I suck with a capitol uck at pool. But I always manage to beat my fiance. How, you ask? Well he always scratches on the 8 ball. I think on purpose to make me feel better. Nonetheless, it is fun.

  4. yes, you are probably right - though you do look more cool if you do succeed in getting the balls in.

But I think a leopard blouse is cool, so it's still a win.

  6. You've got great fashion sense, I love the ideas you got. You're so creative in mixing and matching your clothes. By the way, is your boots wedge type?

    1. No, they're not wedges, they're just regular heels.

  7. I am horrendously bad at playing pool, so you are not alone! I really love how the leopard print looks next to the vest. You looks awesome.
