I wore this on Saturday when Josh and I took a trip to the Body Worlds exhibit at OMSI (the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry). At $25 each it was a pricey trip, but honestly well worth it. I wrote a huge paragraph about it, but decided in the end to leave it out of this post because it may have gone into too much detail for those of you who are squeamish :) But I will say this: I left the exhibit feeling like I had gained a wonderful understanding of how the human body works. The exhibit is only open through March 4th at OMSI, but if you happen to run across it somewhere else I highly recommend a visit!
This outfit is nearly identical to one I wore back in September, except I swapped bare legs and wedges for tights and boots. It was a fun outfit to wear to a museum that was packed full of kids - it felt very appropriately enthusiastic and whimsical.

I love to find great exhibitions! I was never a big fan of museums but that sure has shanged over the last year. I've seen so many great ones. Those in London beeing my faves. xo Nikki
ReplyDeleteI love the museums in London! Every time I go there I end up spending whole days at the museums.
Deletei absolutely love this outfit!
ReplyDeleteI went to the Body Worlds exhibit this past Sunday! It was definitely a great exhibit and didn't find it that bad, since I tend to be squeamish about these things.
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit too. :)
I'm really squeamish too - I can't even watch them dissect fake bodies on TV without wanting to puke :) But this exhibit was so cool that it overcame my squeamishness.
Deleteobsessed with this skirt. so glad I stumbled across your blog. totally following and can't wait to read more. if you get a sec, I'd love if you'd check out mine. It's all about the adventures of a small town girl taking on the LA fashion scene. xo

I got to see that Body Worlds exhibit when it came to Montreal two years ago, it's so amazing. I was really blown away. (Also amused when a little boy asked his father "Daddy, did they kill these people for this?" in a calm, cool tone haha) I love your giraffe pin :)
