I never wear these leopard print heels with anything but pants. After I bought them I brought them home only to realize that because of the way the top of the shoes look, they look odd with anything but pants. So all I can wear them with are jeans, my red cords, and these blue cords. I've gotten a surprising amount of wear out of them, though. They allow me to do subtle versions of pattern mixing, because I can wear a shirt that would clash with leopard print up close, but when the shirt and the shoes are separated by a solid-colored pair of pants I can get away with it. (I'll be honest though - I really tried to make this top work with my leopard print pants. It was horrible.)
Blouse: thrifted from The Dig
Blue high-waisted corduroy pants: Anthropologie
Leopard print heels: Sam Edelman from Nordstrom Rack
Red hat: thrifted from Village Merchants
Sunglasses: Oscar de la Renta from TJ Maxx
Brown belt: thrifted from Goodwill

I so want a pair of leopard pumps... I tired sam but his were just too long and narrow for me...
ReplyDeleteThat thrifted blouse is pretty cool - it makes me think of something a tourist would wear to the grand canyon.
Chic on the Cheap
I love this look on you! The hat is a great touch and I love the print of the blouse.
ReplyDeleteThis look reminds me of the 70's when Mod Squad and Charlie's Angels were the rage. I love the look, and you are rockin' that hat!! So cool!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!
The pattern on this blouse steals my heart! Makes me want to take a beach vacation (away from all the snow!).
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous week-end!!
