This blouse used to be a dress, which I had thrifted about a year ago and had never worn. It was just too dowdy-looking as a dress, so yesterday I grabbed it out of my closet and chopped off the bottom half. I don't even think I'm going to hem it, since it's so voluminous that I will always wear it tucked into something so as to show off my waist.

I have that dress in another color and love your solution to making it wearable. I will be unafraid to go forth and chop! :D You look lovely in it. I too would want to wear that wonderful turquoise so it is fantastic to see such a great solution realized.
ReplyDeleteI love the cut of those pockets on the shorts, VERY flattering.(Although you don't need flattery to look fabulous.)
