Yes, this is my new favorite location to shoot outfit photos! Josh (my husband and photographer) is obsessed with what he calls "bounce light" which is sunlight that bounces off a building, giving something a diffused glow. In my opinion it's so much prettier than direct sunlight because it doesn't cast harsh shadows. And in this parking lot we have found the perfect bounce light, so I have a feeling we will be coming back here a lot for photos in the future.
I constantly find myself being drawn to what I call "grandma clothes." I mean absolutely no offense by that term - I'm just referring to clothes that have a slightly old-fashioned print or style, and are somewhat modest. This skirt is definitely a grandma skirt, so I thought I'd punch it up a bit with some blingy bangles and a hot pink cardigan!
