Cheer up

Yesterday was not the best day for me. On my drive to work, someone cut me off and then flipped me off as they drove by. (And, by the way, she had to reach across her young son to give me the finger.) And at work, I gouged a hole in someone's wall by accident. So when I came home, I put on something fabulous and did my hair in a pretty braid to cheer myself up. Then we went outside to take pictures, and the crazy wind destroyed my hairdo and rendered all but these two photos unusable. I guess it just wasn't my day.

Shirt: thrifted from the Expo Center antiques show
Skirt: thrifted from a store in Manzanita
Sandals: Target
Belt: Gap
Necklace: from my mom

  1. If it helps those two pictures are very beautiful! Quite a awesome skirt!
Hope today is better for you and that no mother ends up flipping you or anyone else off today with a child in their car. So not cool!

  2. You look lovely, love the shirt! :)

  3. You look so stylish I love the long skirt!

  4. Well, if it's any comfort, the two useable photos are lovely. That skirt is gorgeous!

  7. Ewwww, I can't believe people can be sooooo rude (referring to the lady who used the finger)!!! I guess there are bad days like that, but at least your outfit was nice and bright, and your hair looked lovely!! Way to try to cheer yourself up! :) Hope these past days have been better for you!
