Sunshine and a snowy mountain

This was an outfit that really deserved a better setting in which to be photographed - maybe a field of wildflowers instead of a backdrop of a snowy mountain, since it was about 65 degrees outside when we took them. I talk about the weather a lot on my blog, don't I? I guess I'm just an old lady at heart. I like to stay at home and knit, I grumble about skateboarders and technology, and the weather is honestly one of my favorite topics of conversation.

I'm excited that Daylight Savings Time is coming up in a few days, because the extra hour of light means we'll be able to take photos in the evening again! We've been doing them when Josh comes home for lunch (which is why I've rarely strayed past my rooftop for photos the past few months), and it makes for a bit of a rushed meal. Plus, I've missed that wonderful, soft evening light.

  3. You must either have an awesome camera or be a great photographer, because your pictures always look very high quality and beautiful regardless of weather!! Oh, and I love the outfit. The new shoes look so awesome matched with that shirt :)

    1. My camera is pretty much the most basic DSLR you can buy, but with a slightly fancier lens. And yes, Josh - who takes my photos - is a great photographer :)

  7. I think we've all missed that wonderful evening light! Daylight savings time means I could technically get back on my schedule of posting outfits on the actual day that I wear them, ahahaha.
