Blue and green

Last summer I wanted these blue and green Nine West wedges so badly, but wasn't willing to pay $100 for them. I happened to be at Nordstrom Rack on Saturday, and they were on clearance for only $20! I bought them thinking I'd have to wait a few months to wear them, but it turned out to be sixty degrees on Sunday, and sixty degrees in Portland in March is practically tropical, so I busted them out. I decided to stick with a blue and green theme for my outfit, and even though I wouldn't normally wear this necklace with this shirt, or this cardigan with this shirt, I think it worked relatively well because everything was in the same color family.

Green striped shirt: Gap, thrifted from Rerun
Mint green cardigan: Old Navy
Jeans: Gap
Blue and green wedges: Nine West from Nordstrom Rack
Blue headband: Forever 21
Sunglasses: Oscar de la Renta from TJ Maxx
Green necklace: a store in Hong Kong
Green bracelet: thrifted from Village Merchants
Blue bracelet: Dress Barn

  1. Dude! It was 60 in Colorado this weekend too! I nearly wore sun tan oil and sat on my back porch all weekend! I LOVE those sandals and they are so cute--totally worth the wait! Great blue and green mix today!

I love those sandals. I coveted them last summer too. Maybe I'll head over to Nordstrom Rack...

  4. I really like this outfit. The bright shades are insidious--I don't notice them on first viewing, but they creep up and delight. Great outfit, Stacey! Glad your weather is so great today.
