Snow and daffodils

I felt like I was pretty bundled up for a day in the middle of March when I put on this outfit, but once I went outside I could have done with a few extra layers. I assumed that because there were daffodils blooming, the weather would at least be above freezing, but then it went and snowed on all the daffodils. (To be fair, it only snowed/hailed for five minutes. Then the sun came out and melted all the snow. Spring is so schizophrenic.)

I hardly need to mention this, but...I wore my new shoes! The verdict: they're not as comfortable as all the other heels I own, but they're not uncomfortable. On the plus side, I did get a fantastic amount of positive attention from these. I do love it when people praise my shoes - it's oddly validating :)

Black turtleneck: Old Navy
Black faux leather skirt: H&M
Black tights: Forever 21
Boots: Irregular Choice from Solestruck
Blue earrings and bracelet: B. Lee Designs (gifts from my aunt)

    1. I think somewhere in the back of my mind, I always knew I would keep them, even when I was asking for advice on my blog last week :)

  3. I love crazy shoes... but I've learned not to buy them because I never end up wearing them. So if they make you happy, and they will get out of the closet more than once or twice a year, why not?

    1. The nice thing about not working in an office is that I can choose crazy shoes over sensible shoes whenever I want! Which has perhaps caused me to have too many crazy shoes in my closet, and not enough sensible ones - last week I wanted a pair of plain black pumps to wear with an outfit, and realized I didn't even own a pair.

    1. This was my first purchase from Solestruck, and I was really pleased with it! Especially since they're a local company, which means they shipped my shoes to me in ONE DAY!

Also, you are rocking some awesome shoes on your blog! I love those leopard booties.
