Blending in

Josh said this cardigan makes me look normal. Any of you who have read this blog for more than a few weeks should know that I would generally much rather look interesting than normal, but lately I've been wanting to add more neutral clothes to my wardrobe. When all your cardigans are colors like hot pink and bright blue, it's kind of hard to work them into a variety of outfits. I found this gray cardigan at Gap last week for $8, after Danica was nice enough to let me know that the store near my house was closing and having some killer sales. And you know, I really liked how this cardigan mellowed out this enthusiastic dress. A hot pink cardigan may make me feel like a teenager - which is fun - but a gray cardigan makes me feel like an adult.

  1. I suppose it is important to have a few neutrals in ones closet, and there is something nice and comforting about a grey cardigan.

sorry to hear your gap closed. mine closed a year ago and i haven't gotten over it yet.

    1. It's probably good for me that it closed - it was only two blocks away, so I visited it way too often :)

  2. You look lovely! Sometimes I wear only gray sweaters and start to feel bad about my colorful cardigans. There's just something so simple about a gray cardi. Works great with the flowery dress.
