It was chilly in Portland last week, so one day I pulled out one of my winter sweaters to wear (and probably should have worn tights, too). This is why I don't have much of a distinct summer wardrobe and winter wardrobe - it gets cold enough in June that I need sweaters, and sometimes we have random hot days in February or March where I end up wearing shorts. So I usually can't tuck away my sweaters into my hope chest until the middle of July, and even then I sometimes pull them out again.

White sweater: thrifted from Goodwill
Blue striped skirt: Forever 21
Black boots: Lulu's
Purse: Ralph Lauren, thrifted
Black belt: thrifted from Goodwill
Ring: In Pink

  1. Those are such fun chunky boots...love them with the chunky sweater and skinny skirt, it's great proportions!

  2. Ha! I can completely relate. Here in the other Portland, we hit 80 degrees in late March and have been shivering on and off ever since then. I'm sure I'll be back to the sweater drawer tomorrow, when we'll have rain and a high of 61, according to the forecast. My tights, turtlenecks and cashmere socks are in the basement, but I probably won't even bother taking my sweaters down there, considering that the only months I don't need them are July and August.

    Great sweater! Looks cozy.

  3. nothing worse than a sudden cold snap just as summer is just getting started!
hope you get back to the warm soon!!

  4. Juneuary !Such a great title, very smart! It's so hot in Greece at the moment that I can't even wear scarves around my neck. All sweaters are packed and hidden until the end of October.
